Looks like a doubled die. Try taking images are little further out to show the other devices in the area. Sometimes when you look too close, anything appears as something.

here are the other pics I took, but when I resize them to upload they become pixelated. Not sure why, I am using an older version of photo shop. If I view the direct photo's I can see splitting in almost all the lettering, but when I resize all I see is blurr. any help with this would be great, the photo part of this is frustrating, lol.

Pictures become pixelated when you increase their size without adding to the resolution. When you take an image with a camera the number of pixels in the photo is set and cannot be increased without a loss of resolution. ALL camera images are the same.

The way to increase resolution of the images is to get the camera closer to the coin - or use a lens that magnifies the subject so you can see what you are trying to show.

Your version of photoshop has nothing to do with this issue.
