Good day everyone!
Just to start my forum-life i'd like to post some photos of two coins I can't identify. Hope you'll help me :)

the first one is very light, in yellow metal - colours on the photo are a bit altered in order to see the patterns better... diameter ca. 19mm

the second one is obviously from India but that's only my suggestion... It's 17mm in diameter but rather heavy... unfortunately I can't measure its weight

The top piece is what brought me to the forum; it's a 20 para bridge token from Turkey from early 20th century. You can check out another thread about it.

The second coin seems similar to the Chola coins of Raja Raja
Here's alink with pictures: http://coins.lakdiva.org/medievalin...ssa6_cu.html

By the way: your nickname suggests you have some ties with Flanders (Belgium). Do you?
(Ik ben namelijk zelf een Vlaamse kerel!)

Welcome here!

Thanks a lot Bart!

About Flanders - yes and no. I'm not a Flemish but I've been to Flanders a couple of times and I adore this part of Belgium. (Bovendien spreek ik Nederlands en men zegt dat ik het met Vlaamse uitspraak doe:) )
So that's the story I think.

So far Google translation.

I said: "By the way, I am a Flemish guy myself"

The Dutch sentence of vlaamsekerel (Flemish guy) translates as: "Besides, I speak Dutch and people say I speak with a Flemish accent" (literally: "My pronounciation is Flemish")
