Hey Foxwoods, what if they charge me for the puck but I get sent the 2018 ASE instead? That is what scares me. |

Just checked my CC statement and nothing posted for any Mint charges yet?

There should be an "authorized" or "pending" charge at least but I would think if they did ship it there would be an actual charge completed before shipping. The only explanation would be that they are shipping a returned item and thus no charge.... ONE AVAILABLE RIGHT NOW AT THE MINT |

Well that "minus 24" from the count is starting to show up. There were eight available this morning. I picked up five and left three...lasted six minutes
Edit to add:
Soooooo..Teach...this leads me to a couple of questions.
...if they were available today in a reasonable quantity why was (is) your order backordered.
...even more interesting why is there not a pending or completed transaction on your CC statement.
Let's see how my order(s) progress

Well here is my latest in this saga. I only show one charge from the Mint for $60 back when they shipped me the wrong ASE. I just got off the phone with them again. I told them there is nothing on my credit card statement for the refund they said that was posted for the returned ASE for $55. They said I might not see it show up for 3 to 5 business days. Then I asked why there isn't a charge for the GRC puck that was shipped yesterday and is in transit and expected to be delivered on Friday? They said since it was just shipped yesterday the charge must not have reached the credit card company yet. They said give it a few days and check it again. So basically I am left just waiting to see what shows up in the box on Friday. Will it be the replacement 2018 ASE that I requested after I returned the 2016 they sent me by mistake or will it actually be the GRC puck that I also ordered on that original order back on 1/20? And if I do receive the GRC will I see a charge for the coin? On a side note, my other order for one GRC puck is now processing, I didn't dare ask them about this order today. Oh the fun with the US Mint continues......I hope you have better luck than me Foxwoods :) |

They said since it was just shipped yesterday the charge must not have reached the credit card company yet. Ummm...no. There is NO way they would have shipped it without a charge showing on your CC...first as a temp authorization and then an actual charge. Mine orders showed in an hour today Quote:

Teach, I'd suggest having someone video you opening the box when you receive it. This way they can't doubt what you're telling them.

I forgot to mention the weight of the package, I was going to ask you about that, here it is: Weight 0.9 lbs / 0.41 kgs So what do you think is in the box? An ASE or a puck? Maybe they are sending me a free puck for all of my troubles......haha |

@Bret - maybe I will video the opening of the box with my phone just in case. With what Foxwoods tells me about the weight of the box it sure looks like it will be a puck, but we won't know until the box is open.

Thanks teach for the numbers...I forgot to look this week
Sooo...the sales of the Clark as of January 14th were 14,787
Sales three weeks later are reported as 14,759 (minus 28). I wonder when they will actually have a positive numbers week...ya think collectors would be all over them when they do show up and have ZERO plan of returning them
The sales today will now add at least two weeks to the potential "sold out" status...but there should still be 15 or so left SOMEWHERE

Just received another email stating that order #2 with GRC puck #2 has shipped. Still nothing on my CC statement? Who knows? I clicked on the tracking number and there nothing on the website yet, but at least something seems to be in the process.
