I can see some complaining vividly about receiving such a coin and others jumping to the ceiling for joy...

In any case, Clark 'lost' a few more (down 18 to 14,741) and Pictured Rocks had strong opening sales of 13,952, considering it's only been available since Fri.

Ok...let me get this straight. Here are the opening sales numbers for the Clarkies:

Quote:
It scored six-day sales of 14,612 for the second quickest start in the series this year. For comparison,

Soooooo....am I to understand that they have only added 129 in over two months? To a puck that is the key of the series?

Something is definitely weird here....and why does the number drop significantly every week. Not because of rejects...I just got my order of four from last week and they are perfect

The 2 new GRC P pucks I just received do not look like returns to me. They look really good to my eye. Time to get the next puck here soon.

Won't be long and the Rocks puck will passing the GRC puck. People seem to like this new one. Maybe since the bullion is having issues getting out there more people are buying the P puck?

Clark came out on a Tuesday (Dec. 5th) and by the following Sunday had sold 14,612 and has added only 129 over the next ten weeks with most of that time being "currently unavailable"

Pic Rocks came out on a Friday and by Sunday sold 13,952. I think they will make up for the low Clark numbers by having this one available for some time.

If anyone has the change to grab a Clark near/at $149.95 do not hesitate

ATB-Five-Ounce-Silver-Coins

Well, this is what came in the mail today. My first (and only) ATB puck.

I'm a little disappointed with it, as I was expecting a nice shiny coin, but this is more like dull steel or an old nickel. Is this what all the "P" pucks look like? Should I have bought a bullion (no "P") coin instead to get the shine I was expecting?

I think I'll take this coin to the coin show tomorrow to ask for opinions and to look at prior "P" and "no P" pucks (I've seen them at shows for years but never really 'looked' at them before).

Yup..the P pucks have a burnished almost matte finish that I think looks great on this big boy. The bullion pucks are nice and shiny if that's what you prefer. Sometimes the bullion puck has some quality issues but I do like both

If you are fortunate to get a DMPL bullion puck you WILL like that one...

I say this all of the time but I wish the pucks looked the ATB proof silver quarters. The best of both worlds, frost on the main subject and mirror on the rest.
