New lowest mintage P puck While not the strongest design, it wasn't bad. Wonder what kept buyers away. My Pictured Rocks is on its way!

The Clark P was not the easiest to buy from the Mint. It was "currently unavailable" since January 12th and have only been released infrequently in single digit quantities since then.
It was not a collector decision but an end of year Mint decision to Mint a minimal quantity.
After the first full week of sales the number reported was 14,919
After approx eight weeks of being listed the number sits at 14,739...180 less than after that 1st week
My last Clark P will be arriving today from the Mint accompanied by it's younger brother Pic Rocks

Well it is about time the GRC - P puck sold out. Will have to keep an eye on the secondary market and see what kind of movement there is with this P puck as the new low.

In case anyone didn't get an Ozark bullion puck (tied for lowest mintage) for some weird reason Provident is severely undercutting the competition and has a sale on ALL 2017 bullion pucks...the Ozark is $105.90 shipped ( APMEX is $145)

Thanks for the tip, I ordered an OZARK using PP and it cost me $110.31 which I can understand the added fee. I had $40.00 laying around in there that I didn't know about. So I'm glad for that. ( so will the wife be happier when she sees it only cost me $70.31 too. )

Ozark is even a little cheaper at Bold Precious Metals ( https://boldpreciousmetals.com/wooc...er/product).I guess both PM and BPM bought a few too many - PM currently has 448 in stock, BPM 140. Good deal, but it's not flying off ebay exactly... For those ordering from BPM for the first time (like me earlier today), you can get some very good deals at spot (first time buyers only though): https://boldpreciousmetals.com/bold-welcome-packs/As I'm biased towards ATBs I bought Harpers Ferry at spot, but the 2016 & 2017 Pandas at spot are an equally attractive deal. For those on the hunt for Clark P coins, I just picked up the last 3 from a coin store for $170 delivered (not bad...). But there are still plenty of graded ones available at Paradise Mint http://www.paradisemint.com/search....&search.y=0). I guess the news that this is the new no. 1 hasn't sunken in yet in the marketplace...?

Well....APMEX sold a OGP Clark at a BIN of $260 and raised their price of their only remaining one to $312 Sooooo...a 70 at less than raw price seems like a deal Re: Paradise Mint. That is a bit strange. Here is a regular FS that sold at a decent price of $335 https://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-P-Geo...AOSwLnlag3qS

Pictured Rocks is already up to 15,249 now - 510 more than Clark.
Looking at the sales figures for Clark, it does remind me of a cardiac arrest (if you plot it...): date absolute +/- vs previous week 10-Dec 14612 17-Dec 14919 307 24-Dec 14837 -82 31-Dec 14839 2 7-Jan 14494 -345 14-Jan 14787 293 21-Jan 14788 1 28-Jan 14764 -24 4-Feb 14759 -5 11-Feb 14741 -18 18-Feb 14739 -2 25-Feb 14739 0

Absolutely weird.. like the minus 345 week...Really? minus 345?
..and minus sales for each of the last four reported weeks? considering that I, as only one buyer, added a crapload (for me) over that period ...and then listed as "sold out" ?....
I think collectors of this series just assumed appropriately that it would go to the normal 17.5k+...and instead got hit with a lowest mintage instead
