Back when this series began I was one of the lucky ones who managed to get through and order the first five coins/pucks. After that I was hookedand felt compelled to have a complete set, and so I do. I'm 67 and I don't think I'll ever see a profit on the series, or if I do...not much. I do have a large accumulation of silver that's causing the shelf in my closet to bow. About a third of the way through I even fiddled with my setting on the Mint site and accidentally started automatically receiving not one, but two of each new issue, so my shelf buckles even more. I'll be happy when the series finishes off.

Well I tried to do it via their website but it said " We're unable to process your return items at this time. Please contact customer service for more information ". So I called them and they said they will have to send me an email or a letter in the mail that I will have to fill out and send back to them to start the process. I asked the CSR why am I having this difficulty not being able to do this via the website. She said she had no idea, she was new to the job. She said she would send this info. on to her superiors and I should receive an email in 48 hours that will need to be filled out and sent back to start the process.

That makes zero sense...try again tomorrow. I really haven't returned too many items but the last one went smoothly.

Here is what I got when I tested a return of my puck...no issues at all

ATB-Five-Ounce-Silver-Coins

Submit the request and in a few hours you get a link to print the label

Sorry to hear about your QA issues, Teach. Hoping you get the return issues sorted and end up with a puck worthy of your collection.

Received an email on how to obtain an UPS return label and sent my P puck back to the Mint today. Hopefully the next one looks fine. I guess I should feel lucky that this is my first ever return. I have had some coins in sets in the past that didn't past the mustard but didn't figure it was worth returning them. Thanks Fox and Celtic.....

Funny. I return everything that's not perfect. My hope is that they'll eventually figure out that shipping out poor quality products doesn't pay. For some reason I don't think my plan is working.

Be careful that you don't get tagged with the Mint's new frequent return policy and get shut off...

Ozark P is now 'done' (currently unavailable).

The first mintage figure for the Cumberland bullion is 26k; i.e. no new low for sure.

Good point. Everything I've returned is legitimately based on a quality issue. I'll take pictures of all the returns from now on in order to demonstrate their poor quality to a supervisor if necessary.

Thanks, Teach. Do you maintain a spreadsheet with all this data?

Celtic - Nah, just every now and then I get the numbers when I remember or see them posted on another site. On a side note - when you return a coin to the mint do they email you to verify they received it and or do they send an email when a replacement is being shipped? Thanks!

The Cumberland bullion appears to be popular - 52.5k minted thus far (in comparison to the three other 2018 releases at 30k each).
Also Ozark P is back (more than 100 in stock).

I do like the Ozark design... good opportunity for folks to pick one up.
