As I hit "Submit" on that last note I began to wonder how long silver will languish in the mid-teens. Will we make it 12 more issues at the $155 tag?

Did "sold-out" really need a hyphen? Seems odd to me.

Received my replacement P puck from the Mint today. Looks much better than the last one. Had a few specs on the inside of the lens but I was able to remove them without issue.

Don't get me wrong. I like the coin. However, I can't say that it captures the essence of Cumberland Island or costal Georgia. I spent a week on Cumberland Island when I was a teenager. When I think of Cumberland Island, I think of beaches, trees and wild horses. The design looks rather generic to me.

Yeah, there do seem to be a lot of these coins that basically feature a bird against a wilderness background. I'm rather nervous about what the Massachusetts design will end up being.

Errr... OK. Doesn't exactly scream "State park" or "America the Beautiful" to me, but what do I know?
