I dont think any toning is from the album. I have a few of my dads ASEs that are toning away in the OGP. Same goes for some of my proofs and mint sets. I honestly dont think the Intercept is going to stop minor toning to any great degree. The amount of anything the deionizing material can adzorb is finite. After a certain point, any protection it may offer will be done.

I just got my first Dansco for Christmas (Lincoln cents w/ proofs) and it's pretty darn impressive. That baby is going to take some time to fill. I will probably use those for my proof/UNC sets.
I also have some blue Whitmans for the sets I pull out of circulation. Those are decent quality and look very nice. I like the lettering/font on the Whitman spines better than the script of the Danscos but oh well.
It's largely a matter of personal preference, and there are tradeoffs for each.

Any recommendation for circulation only albums? I have no interest is albums that include holes for proofs of silver proofs.

Dansco (probably other brands too) offer their albums in 2 versions, with proof and without proof.

Circulation albums: generally Whitman. The blue pages look really good for circulated coins. The downside is that they are not as sturdy as Danscos from repeated opening and closing of the album. The tan Dansco pages are just ok, nothing fancy, but they are durable.

Circulation coins - whitman books. UNC Coins and more valuable stuff - Intercept Shield.
Perhaps BadThad can chime in about the merits of what Intercept Shield is offering. I also agree they look nicer than Dansco.

Warning about Whitman: albums for some/most coin types include proofs. There are no versions without proofs. I had used Whitman folders, and started to switch to Whitman albums. But I switched to Dansco since most of the Whitman album include proofs.

JSH, dansco again...  They are like that for all the moderns. Circulateds look fine in these albums, at least to my eyes.  |

Dansco, of course. I have been using them since 1984. No problems, no complaints; not even with the proofs.  |

Man, that's a nice looking circulated set smokeriderdon. Mine is nowhere near that full for the 30s. One question though, Why did you slabbed the 32d, but not the 32s? The 32s looks really nice. Just curious.
For me I use Danscos. I switched a couple of months ago from folders. As I have used no other albums I cannot say Danscos are better than any others, but I have been very happy with them, and would recommend them to others. Also I know Danscos are made in the US if that's something that figures into your decision. I know Whitman folders are no longer made in the US, not sure about their albums though.

I use basically all Whitman Classic Albums. I also do have several others such as Dansco, Intercept Shield, etc.
Most people usually and mostly lately have switched to Dansco Albums due to quality and appearances. The appearance of an Album should be the least of a person's concerns since almost all coin items end up being hidden from public viewing. A recent post about what is the most common fear with this hobby shows the vast majority fear theft. This alone should make most reconsider thinking appearance is important for an Album.
I presently have well over 100 Whitman Albums. The primary reasons are I've been collecting for so long that at one time Whitman was the only coin collecting item available in my area. As most know, Dansco is popular in the West, Littleton in the East, Whitman in the MidWest.
I use an Album that I get free regardless of brand. Been doing that for a long, long time and no problems since I store ALL Albums in Zip Lock bags.
In the past and presently I've had Whitman, Dansco, Littleton, Intercept Shield, Eaagle, Harris, Super Safe, Coin Edge and numerous others. I aquire all my Albums at coin shows. I simply ask dealers if they have any they don't want, rather than throwing them out, give to me. It works. At a coin show a few weeks ago I got 74 Whitman Folders and 12 Whitman Albums all free. None I needed so all now passed on to a nearby school.
I do admit that so far Dansco appears to be the most consisstant in high quality compared to all the others. Still I do not like that brownish, tanish appearance.
