Recently, I saw an ad in the local newspaper for a guy who was at a local hotel buying silver coins for seven times face value. Has anyone on here, as a private collector, tried advertising for the purchase of coins ( at a much fairer rate of course) and have you been getting responses?

We have been advertising in the local paper for some time now, at $15.00 X face and, been getting very few calls.

There is a website like ebay, but its called kijiji.ca and you sell and buy coins

Kijiji is great. I use it to buy and sell coins quite a bit. Sometimes it's slow but if you stick at it you will make some very successful contacts.
