My third token purchase, or soon to be. Can anyone help me with the same requests I posted with my last token? Attribution, grade, value... In case anyone cannot see, the obverse reads "UNITED WE STAND/DIVIDED WE FALL." And the reverse: "DRUGS, DRY GOODS, GROCERIES/HARDWARE & NOTIONS"

I don't have my book here, but the obverse looks like 1407

checked my book, and this last token is listed as a Patriotic token. The obv is Fuld 471 "DRUGS, DRY GOODS, GROCERIES/HARDWARE & NOTIONS" and the rev is Fuld 450 "UNITED WE STAND/DIVIDED WE FALL."

In the patriotic series, these tokens fall under the sub-category of "half cards." As non-local storecards, Fuld listed these among the patriotics. The OP's piece is among the most common "half cards." Yet, it's representative of this type.

Pytellc,
Please do not post redirects in other forum sections (I have removed it). This is the correct place to post questions about CWT.

Sorry about that, I was unsure about it. Won't happen again.

Anyone else finding it hard to find token want list items? My want list is fairly short but even at the recent Baltimore Expo I only saw one store card I needed. Unfortunately is was a high grade and priced at $13k.

Quote: Unfortunately is was a high grade and priced at $13k So Bill, what stopped ya? I have noticed that it's much harder to find the tokens I want at reasonable $$$ on E-Bay anymore. Although I have purchased a few CWTs from there recently, I find myself buying most of my tokens now-a-days from coin shows. It seems the tokens are both in better condition and at more reasonable prices. Dealers are often more apt to accept lower offers at shows, than what the sellers on E-Bay are willing to do. You however, have a much more focused group of MI store cards you're looking for, which makes it MUCH harder to find those w/ the much higher rarity levels. I know your want list is getting pretty short

Dave When I saw the Saranac, MI in Steve Hayden's case, I commented on it and he asked if I wanted to buy it, I said No but I'd like to drool on it!

Hopefully it was in a flip or was slabbed to keep the moisture off of it
