The prices locally can vary a lot, depending on quantity. Typically I would aim if selling to get spot + $1 and if buying to be in the spot + $3 ball park. If you are buying rolls or monster box - maybe you can get it for spot + $2.75. If you are only selling 1 or 2, then probably spot would be fair price.

I pulled the trigger on some 2012 ASE at a local jewelers for $3.50 over spot. He will buy them back for $1 over spot. So, as long as silver goes up....?!?!?!

This is one area you need to shop around in. Some dealers sell ASE's at spot, but; only the older ones. Remember this years ASE's were bought by the dealers at a premium over spot from the mint. While older ASE's were bought and sold at different prices at different times.

Thanks for the advice. He told me that older ASEs would be cheaper but I wanted my first purchase to be new ones. I plan to buy other silver coins for the look and bullion value.

I bought a quantity of 2007-W Uncirculated ASE's at $5 over spot for each coin, including all the OGP they're still in (boxes, COA's, capsules).
