it's hard to be sure of the lettering, but I think it's a:
"Behntaufend Mark"

I have 3 of them, all 1922. one has a different back than the others.

I will photograph is any one is interested.

they have fold marks and are time worn, but very interesting!
I have an 'amusing amateur' question for you!
Can anyone tell me what the term for the
beautiful artwork on all currency is called?
I'm talking about the spirograph swirly bits!
Surely, they must have a name...

It's actually zehntausend, German for ten thousand. The swirly bits are called a guilloche pattern.

Also, your 1922 10000 RM note is also the first one with the onset of post-WWI inflation. When it was first introduced, it was called a "Vampire note" because when you turn counterclockwise, there seems to be a vampire biting the young man (the neck becomes the vampire!).
