Check out these stacks. Teller handed these over, apparently I missed a large quantity from a depositor/hoarder only days before.

The 50's are (could be) 1995 Series (Lloyd Bentsen Secretary of the Treasury)
The 20's are (could be) 1988 Series (Nicholas F. Brady Secretary of the Treasury)

So, how much did those run ya?

The bills look like they have consecutive serial numbers. That's pretty cool.
Rest in Peace

oih82w8 I dont but the 1993 is my favorite series year and I collect old style bills so I have seen a lot of series years and can pick them out based only on their signatures.

That's a great find for guys wanting to put together a series set of $ 20.'s and $ 50.'s, in my eyes collecting is not always about the high premium something will bring or how much money a guy can make off of another collector.

For me sharing what I find with another collector at a reasonable trade or price is what it's all about.

it has not been asked but I am wondering it how much total face value is it. in the first pic it looks like you could have 50 notes of each denom.

That is a pretty cool find.

This site says they are just worth face value or maybe more on the $20s:
http://www.uscurrencyauctions.com/$20notes.htm

But this one says $60 value on the $50s:
http://www.uscurrencyauctions.com/$50notes.htm

Still, pretty cool find, on the old designs.

Still better than letting them get spent then eventually destroyed. Someday they'll be worth more. Good find.
