It's actually zehntausend, German for ten thousand. The swirly bits are called a guilloche pattern.
Also, your 1922 10000 RM note is also the first one with the onset of post-WWI inflation. When it was first introduced, it was called a "Vampire note" because when you turn counterclockwise, there seems to be a vampire biting the young man (the neck becomes the vampire!).
