If your bank doesn't want to provide you with dollar coins tell them you will find another bank to give you the service they advertise they give! They are being lazy. Now I spent three dollar coins at the cafeteria for lunch and one clad 1971 Kennedy half at the gas station. When they get those Kennedy halves many seem to be grateful because they want to exchange them for keeps. I tell them just go to the bank and request them!
