Went to local coin show today.  6 Ike$ for lunch on the way 180 Ike$ for $50 Gold Certificate and 1934 $100 notes 6 Ike$ for more coins for my Birth Year Set 20 Ike$ exchanged to one dealer so he could make change ======== 212 total $61,945 to go Total Ike$ Spent on Project 100K = 2087 |

adambur, I have been buying Ike$ from another member. These are Ike dollars that he can't sell to the public due to them being off quality or damaged. Sorry, but you don't currently have enough posts on this site per the Buy/Sell/Trade/Want List Rules that we all agreed to when joining. But you will in time  |

thanks for the info, I was wondering if it was a way of asking at the bank. but I can wait until I meet the requirements, no hurry on getting more ike's I just remember them as a kid and it would be fun to get them to spend again.

You can try asking at a bank or credit union. I know mine doesn't have any Ike$ and the only small dollars or half dollars there are in cash registers. When I was getting small dollars from my bank, I had to order them.

yesterday I was at 2 doctors appointments gave 1 ike each to the Doctors, 1 to a staff member who was shown the coin .. and wanted one too! 1 ike to a nice helper with loading heavy groceries. 45 ikes for gas 3 days ago Sold (about) 500+ ikes on ebay this last month Gave 2 ike to 2 kids in the block 5-6 days ago. |
