Spent $7.50 in halves at Home Depot. The cashier was a teenager with an accent (sounded Russian) He said his father keeps $2 bills. He said "Thank you" for the halves as it sounded like he was going to buy them and give them to his father. I felt bad because they were all pretty hammered.
Spent $16 in halves and dollar coins including 1 Ike at the beer store.

So how has the reaction to the Sacagawea and Presidential dollars been for you guys? Personally, I love them, but I have heard Americans are resisting accepting them, out of fear of losing the dollar bill. |

They are easily getting accepted. One server at a restaurant I frequent, buys up all those in the register for her mother.
