Today was Take your child to work day. I went to the drive through at McDonalds and at the window was a mom with her son. The boy was about 9. Anyway, I paid 6.50 with half dollars and handed them to the boy. The mother looked at the coins and said Wow. The boy gave me my change and the I heard the mother say, "We will set these aside and see if any are worth anything.

First seen this thread, but every Easter I go to the bank and get 2 $10 rolls of halves for the egg hunt we have for my nieces and nephews. Whether they spend them or save them I can't say, but I guess you can mark that as at least another $20 for this years hunt!!  $17792.50 |
