Spent $24 in SBA's and 1 Ike at Walmart. The cashier lady said "Where were you when I needed you" She said she could have used some dollar coins for something or another a month or 2 ago and since I've only been to the new location twice in 4 months compared to twice a week at the old location she couldn't snag them. She said she used $25 of dollar coins I had spent in the past for one her relatives 25th wedding anniversary.

Spent $2 in dollar coins including 1 Ike on lottery tickets.

Spent $16 in halves and dollar coins including 1 Ike at the beer store. The cashier said her manager who has to count the drawer at the end of the shift really hates me.

A guy further back in the line (late 20's) yelled out he would give me a paper dollar for my "metal" dollar. I swapped an Ike with him and noticed he was wearing a gold ring with a $5 or $10 gold Indian in it. I couldn't tell which one as the eagle side was up. I mentioned it to him and he said it was his best coin. (I didn't count this Ike in the total as I am sure he will be holding onto it)

$14,063 to go.

I spent $12 in dollar coins yesterday: $6 to buy a replacement head for my electric shaver, $4 to buy some weight collars for a barbell, and $2 in a donation bucket.

A Sac and a Garfield for a drink at the supermarket self checkout. It's so much easier to drop a coin in than try to feed a crumpled $1 into the bill acceptor! $14,049 to go.

I found a dollar coin in a vending machine today, does that count since it was someone's change, but they neglected to take it? I'm probably gonna deposit it eventually since it isn't in the best condition.
