Someone handed me a GORGEOUS 2000-D Sac today (seriously, I want to know where it'd been sitting--still looked freshly minted). I was going to buy it at the end of my shift but before I could another customer said "Was that one of those gold dollars she gave you?" I said yes, and he immediately offered to swap it with a bill--apparently he, like me, prefers to spend dollar coins.

Also, I spent five yesterday at Red Robin. The waitress was totally fascinated--she'd never seen dollar coins before. My date kinda grinned and went "She's gonna buy 'em, isn't she?"

Total of six for $95 705.50 to go.

Last night:

--ONE in a Ronald McDonald House box
--TWO to tip my lovely bartender when I ran out of bills
--THREE to tip the lady at Denny's who so kindly served me a BLT (some people get the munchies from smoking; I get them from mixed drinks)

For a total of SIX and bringing us down to $95 605. Y'all, we might actually break the next thousand before I go on vacation.
