$2.00 for coffee at starbucks
The clerk was really excited and said she would buy them from the register, first time I had a response like that.
$3.00 for a burger combo at the wendy's drive thru.
The cashier seemed stoned and looked at them for about 30 seconds before putting them in the register, lol.
I've been unloading more halves recently from my roll searches.

I still haven't spent any! Bit hard in Australia! And, I only have a few.  If anyone does want to spend some in Australia; send me a list of how many different you have to spare (plus postage cost to send them here). I will reimburse you, plus a bit extra. Or, better still, what about a swap for some nice Australian coins?  Jeff |

I weakened today at work. One Presidential coin, in exchange for a doughnut. I'll buy it back tomorrow night if it's not gone from the drawer by then, but it WAS technically spent.

And Jeff, the only Australian 50c I have is damaged and I think I'm missing a few coins. I'd like a full set of basic Aussie currency for my nieces (I posted awhile ago about my "pirate chest" project, if you want pointed toward it just let me know). PM me with which coins you're looking for.
