Bruddah!

Road trip today to visit my aunt with my grandpa; spent three goldens on a couple of sodas, and plunked three more in a tip jar at the destination restaurant.

Place I bought the first soda at, the cashier had about 10 in his drawer already.

So:

A: 93,976
B: 93,978.50

Would have been more fitting if you had used one Eisenhower dollar.

Spent seven on a lemon soda, sandwich, and chips. Later on, I spent two on an ice cream, for a total of nine.

Also, one of the banks I visit recently acquired about 10 bank-wrapped rolls of dollar coins, all Presidentials (I picked up one of Washingtons a few days ago). So that will probably be my go-to place for the next few weeks, or I may buy what they have to spend over the next several months.

Haven't really been keeping up with this, but I tried spending a half dollar at my dorm's front desk. Deskie said he was told he couldn't take anything that wasn't "regular".

Ridiculous..

Coinsearcher, I have gotten similar responses occasionally when I spend half dollars. I kindly point that it says 'United States of America' on the coin, and it is more convenient than 2 quarters. I have never been turned down.

I spent 4 dollar coins at the farmers market yesterday.

$93,836.50 to go.

The bank I pick up coin boxes from (crh) called me up, they had $875 in small dollars. I didn't tell them I didn't want them I did not want to ruin my relationship with the tellers. So... I picked them up. Bought groceries at Super Walmart, not too hard to dump them.

$92,961.50 left...
