I love Skittles, that honor system cash box would have to be larger if I was there.

Observed classmate spending one golden dollar on lunch... Without me telling him to! Sadly, that means I'm back to school... Now in middle school, 7th grade. The classes and teachers are okay, but it severely limits my time for stamps and coins... Oh well. I've tried to get my mom involved in this project, but she always forgets (I don't think this is an excuse, she legitimately forgets enough other things... Not that I can remember anything she tells me to do either) to spend halves. Oh well. Total- 92,637.50 left to go Updated to add new total.

Half dollar spent on an ice cream cone (Curse Burger King's latest catchy jungle!) The cashier stared at the coin for a while.
Paid a friend back with $3 goldens
$3 goldens plus $1.50 in halves dropped into a street performer's hat

Hmm! I cant belive I'm the only one to spend for this thread a day later!
Anyway, Spent 2 to buy a pen this morning. Conversation ensued: Checkout Gal: Wow, I've never seen these before. They're worth $1 right? me: Yeah Coworker Gal: Yeah, you get those as change from parking kiosks. Checkout puts them in the dollar bill compartment, and not the odd-ball compartment of her cash drawer Me: Sometimes you can get them at banks too. They cost less to produce than the dollar bill. Checkout: They should get on that!
$3 given with a $20 at lunch to get $15 back.
$2 spent with a $10 bought a new silver half for me to play with.
$7 spent
$92,606 to go.
