Funny comment at Michael's when I was leaving the cashier said something to another cashier like, "Hey this guy just spent $11.50 in half dollars here There's gotta be some silver in it." Ha, you wish.

Spent a total of 50 today; here's the breakdown:

*21 at a Barnes & Noble store for a September 2012 issue of Coin World and a 2012 GRE vocabulary book. My bill was $20.14, and I pulled out a roll of Van Buren dollars, opened it up, kept four coins for myself, and gave the other 21 to the cashier. The cashier said she never saw the coins before, and asked another cashier if she could accept them. The cashier eventually accepted the coins, and gave me my 86ΒΆ. I told her that I buy the coins at banks every week.

*29, along with $12.75 in bills and coins for gas. No issues with spending them at the gas station. I paid with a roll of Washingtons (they were not "Godless" ones).

$91,688
