HEY Everyone..........Disappointing News....Took this coin to a highly reputable coin dealer here and 4 coin experts including the owner of the bussiness looked it over. According to them the coin is a fake. The "s" and the "V" are wrong. According to the it would be a waste of my money to have it graded or authendicated. What a drag....thought maybe I had actually found something worthwhile.

A dealer I know purchased a 1916D Mercury dime from someone. Sent it in for grading since he, a 50 year dealer, knew it was real. It came back as a fake. He then asked other dealers what they thought. All said real. HMMMM.
Different person I knew purchased a 22 Plain Lincoln Cent that was cerified by a sort of unknown TPGS. He recent it in to another TPGS just to make sure and it came back fake.
I know you said that dealer said fake but before I'd throw in the towel, I'd try a few more dealers or even spend a few dollars with PCGS just to make sure.
To many people blurt out fake and really don't know.
