Booby Head does not have a bar below the "CENT" on the reverse. They are both "large heads" with a somewhat goofy expression on the faces. The heads are much larger than the "small head" aka head of "'40".. Ayuda me Generalissimo con las otros differences...

amida17 - based on the hair below the Liberty crown, and the extended length of the hair curls below the bust, I'd say that you have the 1839/Head of 1840/Petite Head/N8.

Smokeriderdon- Also, both have the rear of the "shoulder" exposed. In the booby, it extends beyond the hair and on the silly, inside the hair. The silly looks like it's using one if those hair bump things they sell on tv.
