I just received 12 red seal $2 dollar bills.
What is the approximate value? None of the bills have rips or tears, however, each bill has a spot about the size of a quarter in the bottom right corner that is dark yet ink is still visible.

Of course the best answer is to provide pictures or scans.

I generally consider bills like this to be as a multiple of face value. They're certainly worth $2 at the least! :) For a well circulated 1953 or 1963 you might expect to get $4-6. This is the retail price that an end-collector would pay. You'll get less if you sell to a dealer or sell on ebay after fees & shipping.

A lot of the value depends on the condition of the note and how egregious the 'spot's are. . .

Wheatiefan, thank you for your insight.

More importantly, thank you for taking precious time out of your day to correct my arithmetic.
