Nobody said it was fake, they said it was incuse. Incusse means the image goes inwards instead of outwards.
That is a classic optical illusion, to me it lookss like it comes out but if I look at it a different way I could fool myelf into thing it goes in.
As for "too worn" compare the coin to the picture that coinaholic posted. There are many details worn away from the OP coin... hair is usually a very good indicator of wear as it can lose its details quite easily, and most of the details of the outer ear have been lost from the original coin too.
