HAs anyone heard a more specific date? A friend said that he has pre-ordered them from a company promising a March 20th ship date? Report this Post to the Staff

Dockwalliper Valued Member United States 342 Posts	Posted 03/11/2007 07:53 am The proof dollar set was delayed due to problems with the edge lettering in San Francisco. The mint dosen't know yet when it will be on sale. Last I read they were saying mid April to early May. Report this Post to the Staff

If that date comes up and they can't deliver they give you the option of cancelling or continuing to wait. Most since they have already committed and still can't get them elsewhere will opt to wait. But by offereing the presale early rather than waiting until they know for sure when they will be available they can be the first to "offer" them and get all of the "got to be the first to have it" crowd.
