I sent mine. Eagerly watching the mailbox.
It's not the best coin of its kind, but I'm a grad student working from limited resources and the hope that the coin hits a spot for my person. If nothing else, it's silver, so there's that.

My gift is going out this morning. This time I broke with tradition and the recipient will not be getting a 2 Cent and a book. Mainly because I have a good Idea what he collects so I tried to cover all the bases.. Hope It worked.

My package went with my wife to be mailed today. I want to thank whoever it was who took the time to research my posts etc - even to the point of the "Tootsie Pop" post! Santa did VERY well for me as they sent me exactly what I was wishing I had to fill some album holes! An UNC 1976 3-piece silver set. This is the first silver Ike I have owned! Also was included a 1973 Red Book with an original newspaper clipping of the mint's announcement of them planning to issue this set! What a difference prices were back then. And, last, but not least, a chocolate Tootsie Pop! Will the world ever know... A very big thank you for the wonderful gifts. And I was bad opening it early b/c I will be visiting during the Christmas Season and wanted to open it myself instead of training my dog or cats to open it on Christmas morning so they could phone and tell me what it was - at least that's the best excuse I could come up with edited for syntax

Nice get, Earle. I remember when my dad got me one for xhristmas when I was a kid. My very first silver period, and I loved it. Still have it to this day.

AHA! kellyk you fell into my well-planned trap to get my Secret Santa to reveal themselves! ... Yeah right - and if anyone believes that I have an 1804 dollar for sale... Seriously - what better way to end the day than find there was even more to a gift? Thank you again! Sincerely, I still get a great feeling of enjoyment when I think of that 3-piece set.

I mailed my Secret Santa gift today in a regular envelope. I hope it makes it there, I skimped on the price of postage to give a better gift. I couldn't decide on a coin so I went with an old piece of currency that reminded me of my Christmas's with my GPA before he died, he was the best.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
