Hello, Maybe someone here can help me out. I got my USB microscope and have been trying it out looking at my coins and This Buffalo nickel looks like it may be a 1914/3. It's pretty worn but it sure looks like I see the top bar from the 3 like my Cherry Pickers Guide shows. Let me know what you think and what grade you would estimate it to be just from the obverse pic. Would it be at least a G4 ? Thanks !
The good news is, I would say the coin would grade at least G-6. I've been seeing some grade inflation with buffalo within the last year and if this coin has the reverse motto at least mostly separate from the rim and a hint of horn, TPGs are even calling those VGs now.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I just couldn't tell if it was a 4 over 3 in the date. On the last pic I posted, it kinda looks like the top bar of the 3 but I couldn't tell for sure with as worn as the nickel is. Thanks again for the fast replies.
