Just picked up another 25 twos...

1976 - 1

2003A - 3

2009 - 20 (with 18 being uncirculated and in consecutive order)

2013 - 1

If by modern you mean 1976 and up $2 FRN's, I would say some do very well. Some of the star notes and low and fancy serials sell for 100 X face value. Typical non-star notes that are not low or fancy are available at almost every bank in every city at face value. A friend of mine, on another forum occasionally asks for packs of $2's from his local bank and scored a pack of 2013 $2 Atlanta (F*)star notes and is selling them for $7.50 each. I personally collect modern $2's in both notes and sheets. I like serial #12.

picked up several $2 bills at the bank, about 1/4 were almost brand new condition from a few years

Received these 4 in payment yesterday. All 4 sequential.

Picked up another $50 in two's... Nothing special but I did miss out on $50 from last week cause I didn't make it to the bank and someone else got them...


1995 = 4

2003 = 3

2003A = 6

2009 = 2

2013 = 10

I picked up about $150 in $2's from the bank and spent $130 of them within like 3 days. Then I picked up $250 of them, all crisp and have spent about $200 of them. And then I picked up 4 sheets of star note $2 bills, paying for them in $2 bills.

Went to the bank this morning and picked up $400 in two's... Nothing fancy but $200 were band new 2013's with most being consecutive... Here's the breakdown:

Thought this was pretty cool... Don't see this too often and I doubt there is any premiums but cool nonetheless...
