I'm hoping to get some advice/opinions about some tokens I inherited. These were in a small box of mostly foreign coins. I'd never heard of civil war tokens before but I thought these were cool and obviously not foreign, so I set them aside to do some research. It seems most of them are pretty common but 2 of them may have some value and I'm not really seeing them on ebay like the more common ones. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them right now. I'm leaning more towards eventually selling them to a collector who would enjoy them more than I would and the last thing I need right now is another hobby to obsess over.
I believe I've correctly identified them but please correct me if I'm wrong. Clockwise from top left I have: 188/384, 46/339, 112/396, NY-890b, NY a10b, 207/409, 208/410 and NY 630m-13b.
Would it make sense to have the sutler graded prior to putting it on the market?
silverbreath, to the CCF. I love the Civil War tokens and the history they represent. In my opinion, I would recommend having the sutler's token graded. The remainder, no.
