Hi all,

Can you tell if this is this Fat 9 is some sort of mint error or is this post mint damage? If it came from the mint, what would cause this? The other digits look OK to me.

It is a die chip, very common on 1950s wheaties.

Much more common on 1952, 1954 and 1957 than any other dates.
