So been going through a few "look at again" cents and came across this one which looks like a double die but maybe just Die Deterioration or MD what do you guys think...tried to find it on coppercoins but nothing was really catching my eye on looking alike.....tried to get some better pics this time around and made sure they were straight

Hello,

I am seeing some step-down features on some of the lettering and also a lack of notching on the ends of the devices.

The lower area of the vertical part of the 'L' in LIBERTY seems to display a distinct difference in height characteristic of a 'step-down'.

Also w/r/t to the 'S' mint mark it would be impossible for this letter to be an example of hub (die) doubling since all mint marks were hand stamped prior to 1990.

I personally think that this coin is showing MD.

I am not seeing a DDO or MD. Maybe mild Die Deterioration?
