Hello again...so would this be a die chip too? Are things like this at all collectible or only the DD finds?

As you may have guessed, I am new to collecting so am looking at all my coins a lot closer than ever before...maybe a little too close?

Joe

Hello.

You have a great close-up photo but I would need to see more of the coin to even begin to guess at this one.

Maybe an expert can tell from the pic you posted.

To answer you question: Collectors collect just about everything so, yes, people collect all kinds of errors. They are not all valuable.

Also, I don't know if you can look at a coin too closely but I sometimes look at them for too long.

Thanks for the comments. I added a full up image of the coin. Read the tip about using the scanner. Worked well.

It does look like a die chip,no added value. People collect what they like even if there is no added value except for the "cool factor"
