kind of a silly question for you Kevin. did you get that as a penny or a nickel ... :P

if it was the queen side face down maybe you got it as a penny (size and color) but if you got it beaver side up then you got it for 5 cents... :P

funny things about auctions, you never know but for a 1000.00 error it better be graded ina hard slab. look at canadian coin and currency site, they have a few 1999 25 cent on dime planchet ngc 63 around 700.00 and other off planchets all well under 1000.00. anyway good luck with the sale.

Hi, nice pics. I imagine yours might be worth more because of the dates. What do you think mine might retail for?
Thanks

The error market is crazy Kevin. I cant say that one of these is worth more than the other.
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I think the $500 range is where you are looking and the way your ebay auction is going, you are well on your way to that mark.
Good Luck! I will be watching!

To be honest,I have no idea what it is worth!
All I know is that your ebay auction bidding is already higher than what I paid for my coin.

I guess I should ask what you would hold out for if you were to sell it....

Good question Kevin! I havent given it much thought really.
Lets see how your sale goes.
I think that you should grab the money and run from this point on! Your listing is doing extremely well!

there was a time in the late 70s to untill the winnipeg location opened in 1987 there was 2 dealers that could order almost any error coins. that is why mid 1980s off planchets graded is around 200 to 300 dollars. maybe your auction will start new interest in the error field.
