Yes.. it is awaiting stock in Store. Store (Mint Boutique) don't have it yet. It doesn't ship out till Jan 15 which is usually when store (the Mint Boutique) can sell it to public

New "year of the Snake" - nice coin for it's format. It looks better, then previous 1/2oz snake and as coin, bigger than 1/4oz edition.

But, IMO - RCM the 1oz Scalloped coin - the best Snake representation among all the Lunar calendar coins.

Posted an image pre-release?! On no you did'ent.

All of the new releases show awaiting stock IN STORE. But I agree, the snake will likely sell out in the next week or so after general release tomorrow. Nice design, semi-reasonable price point, not unreasonable mintage given the worldwide appeal.

I don't think this coin will sell out anytime soon or ever. IMO
I do love the design of this one but the mintage is just to high.

The coin is nice, but does this coin come with a beauty box, I got the first 1/2 snake coin but it only came with the standard RCM sleeve.

I don't think 18,888 is to high. I won't sell out by tomorrow, granted, but it will sell out. I think this is the best of the snake coins. To bad its not part of any real series or collection.

@canuck1us: Obviously the cracked-out pieces will only be available for as long as purchasers make it profitable for those doing the cracking.

Last year I bought a 2012 set (because of the penny), and a cracked-out GP dollar ($78) and GP loon ($32).

The economics of this set say it is worth only $150 without the draw of the silver penny. It doesn't make any sense that all the other pieces should be considered to be worth more simply because the RCM wants to charge the same for one less piece.

This may be a situation where people should wait for the set to be a dud, and then pick one up at a discount.

They have updated the photos and all the new coins look better in the new photos! Seems that instead of using concept art, they are using actual photo of the coins.
