MadMortician Valued Member United States 397 Posts	Posted 01/21/2013 2:09 pm Melt values: SWITZERLAND 1/2 Franc Silver 0.0671oz, $2.15 AUSTRALIA Sixpence Silver 0.0842oz, $2.70 GREAT BRITAIN 6 Pence Silver 0.0455oz $1.46 And I think it is a GERMANY, THIRD REICH 2 Reichsmark Silver 0.1607oz $5.16 AUSTRALIA 3 Pence I could not find any examples, but 1921 and older seem to be copper/nickel and not silver. garyo1954 New Member United States 14 Posts	Posted 01/21/2013 11:27 pm The Aussie Threepence is 1.41 grams, .925 silver, (.0419oz). The date on the reverse should be separated by three wheat stalks.
