I doubt that even newbie eBayer bidders were fooled into thinking that this was a rare or valuable coin... and it wasn't "overpriced" as the auction started at .99 cents. What happened was that two guys duked it out to win the auction and let emotion over ride logic... One time I had a fairly average common quarter for auction that should have ended with a price of $20 bucks... two guys got into a bidding duel and it ended up selling for $80!
