I inserted two $2's into a change machine for 16 quarters. I will use 12 of them to reimburse my brother for lending me $3 in quarters to run errands.

I spent a single $2 bill to help pay for groceries. Later on, I lent my father $12 in twos to add gas to a rental car's fuel tank so we could avoid any penalties when we returned the car. This makes $14 total.

I spend $2 bills all the time. If fact the tellers at the local bank save them for me and each time I come in they happily tell me how many they have for me. A while ago I told them that I would gladly take all that they have expecting it to be only a few at a time but once they had a wrapped packet of crisp new 100 $2 bills. I was a bit surprised but I took them. My wife thought I was completely loony tunes...  |
