It's good to see pictures--I hope they keep coming! After all, it's important for us to see the gifts we sent have arrived.

Received my gift today. I'm thrilled! Santa shared his CRH and MD finds. I can't imagine the hours spent in search of these treasures. Gives me a new respect for the dedication of those in our hobby who collect their coins this way. How many boxes were searched to find the 2006 nop, nologo, magnetic ? The coins will all become a permanent part of my collection. Thank you very much cladhunter13 !

Very Happy to see the package had finally arrived. I'm happy you like the coins. For the 2006 NPNL Magnetic cents...I have found around 25 of them since I started Coin Roll Hunting in October 2009, I would put my total of boxes searched somewhere north of 400. It would be higher except Feb 2013 put a real damper on the boxes. I have only searched around 72 boxes this year. I will be lucky if I can find 10 boxes total next year. I think it is time to start getting creative to find a supply.
Have a Happy New Year!!

cladhunter13, I was wondering if someone on the border would cross over to the nearest post office.
oih82w8, Birthday is May 17th! Were YOU the culprit? My feet are cold but my heart is warm.

I forgot to post a few weeks ago. I got my Secret Santa gift (a 2006 coloured Christmas Quarter) and am going to hopefully get a gift out to my person in the next few days. Haven't been able to find the right thing yet along with Christmas shopping.

Yes Matt, I wanted to add a little intrigue to the "back-tracking" the origin of the post mark, so I dropped it off into a small town postbox on my way out of town. Do you have any allergies? Wool? We have some fairly thick boot socks at the exchange, some are wool blend.

"What is it you want us to cross over for?" Mostly to avoid customs problems at both ends. Use each other country's postal system.
The socks' idea was from last year. A member asked me what to send to a collector 'who has everything.' I replied that socks are always nice. Little did I know ... And what did I get? Two pair of socks and two mint sets.
No allergy to wool, but do not loose sleep over this.
Now, I want to 'thank' you for giving me yet one more mystery to investigate. Oh poop, how do I find documentation about this 'oopsie?'

You can cross the border and use either post office. If you do...do not seal your packages. The border cops have the right to search any and all packages that come across. Be sure to have your invoices or receipts handy. My cousin used to be a Power Seller on eBay/Amazon and Half.com. He would cross the border to the states twice a week to mail items that were ordered each week. Sometimes he would have 50+ packages. He would present the border cop a stack of invoices and sometimes they would pull him aside and search random packages or all of them. Depending on the officers attitude. :)
Canadian shippers can save quite a bit on shipping by doing this but I always ship from Canada. It is a bit of a hassle for me with traffic wait times crossing the bridge. Not to mention the now $6 fee for crossing ($3 each way).

I here you Wade. One of the reasons he stopped doing it. Not to mention...back when he was doing it the exchange rate was $.40 on the dollar which made it worth it. Now with the dollars basically at par...the profit just is not in it anymore. :)

Got mine today! Yankee, hope your bowling leagues do well and "Thank You!". I only have a couple of error coins and this will add to the group. This exchange was great fun!
