 Sweden, 1/2 skilling, 1828 Until about World War II it was common for the top loop of the number 2 to be very, if not completely, closed. Because this coin is quite worn and damaged I initially thought it was a 1/8th skilling! Although it is quite chewed-up and in awful condition I was happy to buy it for 20 cents.
