 Cuba, 40 centavos, 1962 Think 40 centavos is a weird denomination? So did the Cubans... it existed as a silver coin under the First Republic, but (after this issue) was never seen again under the Communists.

Quote: Capturing toning is extremely difficult, you have to see this beauty in hand. I have a feeling that coin looks great in hand. For me it is really hard getting a picture to show how nice a coin looks. Most of my pictures make them look worse.
