The $80 bucks a month rent is now $1000 - a 12 X increase. Same $80 invested in the BU '48 dollar at that time is now worth MS60 $1,800 to $3,200 MS63 - or 22 X to 40 X increase. How is that not a good investment And if you got one in 1948 for a dollar - depending on grade, it's now worth 1,800 to 3,000+ times your investment - What else can you think of that has increased in value that much over time Here's some pics of 1958 Charlton guide: Scott's Canadian Coins Report this Post to the Staff

I asked in relation to the 1948 vs 1947ML thread I started, but I don't want to hijack this topic. @ScottsCanadian - by comparison, the 1947ML today is MS60 $450 to MS63 $900 - roughly 6x to 13x.
