Yes, I was disappointed with the size of the images too.

They show up nice and big on another site (I was a former referee).

Any tips?

to the Community!

Do not resize the image to make the file smaller. In GIMP, Export the image as JPEG (.jpg) and lower the Quality when prompted. It should show the file size below the Quality slider.
