What is a good price to pay for wheat pennies by the pound

Well there are approximately 145 wheat cents per pound. On ebay you can expect to pay anywhere from 4-8 cents (searched versus unsearched)per normally circulated Wheat cent. So somewhere between $5.80 and $11.60 I guess would be fair. I hope that helps.

I see most going for the higher end of that now (around $8-$11).

So $5 a pound for mostly EF-AU 40's and 50's wheats, is good?
