Unc. Consecutive Note Question - Coin Community Forum

ichirensha Pillar of the Community United States 560 Posts	Posted 03/09/2014 5:25 pm I have three uncirculated consecutively numbered Australian 100 dollar banknotes and want to auction off two of them on ebay. cats25 New Member Australia 40 Posts	Posted 03/09/2014 7:41 pm It really depends upon exactly what you have. Can you give the serial prefix and first 2 numbers of the note/s? If they are current issue then consecutive wont mean much as they are still available from a bank - older could go the other way. Report this Post to the Staff

They were on ebay and ended on Australia time when I was sleeping. I wanted just one and bid pretty low on four, managing to win three. The price was low enough that I felt I could flip the ones that I don't want. Report this Post to the Staff
westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7648 Posts	Posted 03/09/2014 8:24 pm If you can flip the two for more than you paid you'll be ahead of the game. A lot of people don't like tying up big bucks into "common" high denomination notes. For that reason I'd sell them one at a time. After you sell the one, then offer that buyer the other note as he might be interested in a pair. Worth a try in my book. Good luck. Report this Post to the Staff
