wazzappenning Valued Member Canada 329 Posts	Posted 03/19/2014 1:19 pm maybe werts program could shed some light on it. it is slightly thinner at the edge, but protrudes from the coin in the field area, like its a continuation of the rim, and same height. the edge a little off opposite has some markings as well, and it sounds higher pitched (like thinner?)when dropped compared to a 69. its magnetic. almost looks like someone managed to bash the rim so it spread back towards the center, but the rim wouldnt have enough metal. also I cant pry it up with my nail. these markings almost look like it was cast? is it really possible someone went through the effort of counterfeiting 25c?
