Your coin looks like its mid to high AU,Kefiroth, what makes you think its been harshly polished?
Edit: your coin is quite nice, I could see it going into the lower MS range on a good day.

AU50, may have been cleaned, looks like parallel scratches on the reverse.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Is it normal for these coins to look so...unnaturally shiny then? The fields just seem too reflective to not have been polished.

It does seem a lot of Canadian coins have that look though. Maybe it's just something about the 80/20 alloy that wears different.

Looking at the obverse there is such a difference in the fields around the lettering... To me I would say EF..

Thanks guys for all your comments and contributions. Seems like we all have slightly different perspectives on grades although I believe we all somewhat agree that this is a nice coin that grades somewhere in the AU range.
